THE TEAM

Christine Lalonde | Principal HR Strategist

Christine is passionate about transforming conversations into safe, collaborative spaces so that people can nurture connections, openly communicate, and ignite exploration and curiosity. She saw first-hand when her parents moved to Canada from Vietnam the difference a supportive community makes in building the success of individuals. Christine is an experienced HR professional with over ten years of experience in operations, culture development and strategic recruitment, having built HR departments and process from the ground up for multiple small to medium businesses.

She has deep passion, dedication, and knowledge in public and private sectors for workforce planning and strategic recruitment, change management, employee and manager coaching, and retention. What Christine has seen time and again, is that when leaders build thriving work cultures, where employees care about each other and the company, then difficult business challenges are no longer tackled alone but as a collaborative team effort. It is Christine’s greatest joy when she can help enable independence in a way that supports relationships not cripples them.

Christine has extensive experience in championing the strategic HR component of acquisitions, including leading pre-acquisition due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition process improvement, and successfully merging a local 130-person team with an international company generating more than $340 million in annual revenue.

Described as having a great laugh and a loud walk, with an infectious attitude to match, Christine is an avid foodie, enjoys travelling the world to eat at the best restaurants, and is always in search of sunshine and patios to drink on.
